CHM1258: Reactions of Coordinated Ligands
Introduction
Time:
Mondays 1-3 pm
Starts on: September 19
Room: University College 256
Course Coordinator:
Prof. Robert Morris
Course Outline
The transformations of some small inorganic and organic molecules coordinated in transition metal complexes will be examined. Recent research that explains the influence of the metal centre(s) and the ancillary ligands on the reactivity of these small molecules will be reviewed. Emphasis is placed on reactions found in important catalytic cycles.
