Colour flashes

Sometime the colour flashes on the Sun screen; here's how to avoid it.

The Varian software requires an 8-bit colour plane; the display then has very few colours. When another application opens, it grabs the colours leaving Vnmr without enough colours. The remedy, close other applications (like Acrobat) and restart Vnmr.
