I am interested in the transformation behaviors of organic pollutants in plants and the further environmental behaviors of their transformation products. Plants can significantly affect the biogeochemical cycle of contaminants due to the big biomass. A large number of transformation products of organic pollutants are generated in plants. Developing high-resolution mass spectrometry data processing methods for transformation product screening is an important aspect of my work. Besides, the interaction between proteins and pollutants and their transformation products will reveal the transformation mechanism and the effects of organic pollutants in plants. My work will deepen the understanding of the environmental fates of organic pollutants.
