CHM398 Independent Experiential Study

Students in the Chemistry programs may apply to do summer research in Germany (Baden-Württemberg) which is funded through the Faculty of Arts and Science Centre for International Experience (cie.utoronto.ca). This is geared to students who have completed their third year of Chemistry degree by the applicable summer. This opportunity allows the students to spend between 2 and 4 months in Germany to be engaged in research projects relevant to their studies. At the end of their research, students write a report about their research and submit 3 copies to the Chemistry Undergrad Office for reading by members of the chemistry faculty. This research counts as a CHM398H course credit (Independent Experiential Study Project). For information about available projects and application procedures, please visit the undergraduate office (LM 151). Applications are due during the fall semester.
