Chemistry Store Hours
For the upcoming acacemic year, here are the ChemClub chemistry store hours:
Sept. 8th, 10-2pm
Sept. 12th and 14th, 10-5pm
Sept. 13th and 15th, 10-4pm
Sept. 19th-22nd, 10-2pm
Sept. 26th-29th, 12-2pm
*Currently we only have CHM217, CHM238 and CHM338 lab manuals in stock. We will post an update when the rest of the lab manuals are in stock.

Centre Island Trip, Sept. 10
When: September 10th, 11 am – 2 pm
Join ChemClub and your fellow peers on a trip to Toronto’s very own Centre Island.
We will be having a BBQ and playing some fun games. To signup, bring your $5 (includes your ferry ride and food) to doughnuts on Fridays or email chemclub@chem.utoronto.ca to reserve your spot and organize payment.
This is the first event for the academic year, so we highly encourage all of the first year graduate students to come! This is a great way to meet new and returning students and create some lasting friendships and memories.
Statement of Encouragement
Dear faculty and staff,
ChemClub encourages all department members to place a UofT Positive Space sticker outside their office or laboratory door to support our LGBTQ members. These stickers may be found by the first floor elevator on the cork board.
The University of Toronto will be celebrating #DisplayYourPride day on Thursday, June 23rd. More information may be found here.
Upcoming Events – Summer with ChemClub
Hello folks! Some upcoming events this month include the following:
Staff and Student Summer BBQ – June 29th
Come enjoy some BBQ’d chow with your peers both from the staff and the student body. Students are welcome to come join at noon; staff are welcome at 11:30 AM. This will be taking place in our lovely courtyard.
Jays Game – July 5th
Join your fellow students in cheering on Toronto’s only sports team with a winning streak. Come watch the Blue Jays versus the Kansas City Royals! Tickets are available for $10 on a first-come, first-serve basis. They will be available at donuts this Friday, June 24th, and are limited to 30 tickets.
ChemClub Summer Camping Trip
Where: Awenda Provincial Park, 2 hours north of Toronto on Georgian Bay
When: Friday July 22nd – Sunday July 24th
Cost: $10
If you do not have a vehicle or a ride, you can still sign up. ChemClub will assist in organizing rides for everyone on a first-come first-serve basis. If there are not enough cars, we will help organize a car rental for the weekend, but WILL NOT be paying the rental fee.
