Research in nanotechnology has a strong history at the University of Toronto, which established the world’s first undergraduate degree program in nanoengineering. Today, more than 50 faculty at the University of Toronto conduct research in nanotechnology, and train hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students each year.
UT Nano-Net is home to all things nano at the University of Toronto. We provide awards to facilitate undergraduate and graduate collaborative research in nanotechnology, and connect faculty working in nanotechnology in departments across the University.
Professor Gilbert Walker is the Director of the UT Nano-Net.
