Nanotechnology applied to energy, health, and information

R E S E A R C H     F O C U S

We use solution-processed colloidal quantum dots to build optimized devices relevant to four areas of application:

1)      Visible and infrared optical sensing

2)      Visible and infrared energy conversion: solar cells and thermophotovoltaics

3)      Optical interconnect enabled by infrared lasing

4)      Multiplexed ultrasensitive biomolecular detection

Picosecond amplified laser system 300 nm 2600 nm; Optical parametric amplifier; Diode-pumped ultrafast laser; Q-switched green Nd:YLF laser; Cryogenic apparatus with optical ports; Subpicosecond infrared streak camera with doublesubtractive monochromator.
