Gaining Research Experience
The Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship
Program encourages
qualified students to broaden their experience in chemistry by doing research
during the summer months in conjunction with a member of the professorial
staff. Students are encouraged to make
individual arrangements with staff members.
It would be helpful to check out the individual faculty research
homepage to determine various areas of interest. Applications
to the summer research fellowships are available during the latter part of
the Fall semester and announcements are made around that time in all
Chemistry classes. The Richard
Ivey Foundation Summer Research Experience Scholarship: This
scholarship is for first, second and third year students. The holder will be
